About Us

We take a human-centric approach to AI safety and encourage others to explore what it means to be human in an era of agentic AI because AI certainly will. Agentic AI refers to programmatic artificial intelligence systems that can act autonomously, learn and adapt to perform tasks and make decisions much like humans can, from using a cursor to click URLs to manipulating file systems. Now that machines are capable of doing such tasks, it is time to define intelligence beyond mechanized thought. This step leads to revising values and preparing for societal change.

Considering autonomous AI systems with the agency to perform tasks, learn, and adapt, we do not know what will result from its ability to carry out its goals. We need control systems in place for worst-case scenarios.

As machines continue to learn and self-teach rapidly, the creative process becomes increasingly difficult to decipher. How can we problem solve that? We’re experimenting with a tool introduced by Salesforce researchers, OmniXAI (short for Omni eXplainable AI) which offers explainable AI at various levels of the machine learning process.

We’re also asking ourselves such questions as:  

  1. How does the rapid proliferation of Generative AI and LLMs broaden the attack surface?
  2. How can inherent bias in ML data encode structural problems in society?
  3. How can we ensure training data represents a diverse population for accurate algorithmic prediction?
  4. How can we guard against an alteration of our minds and emotions when engaging with conversational AI?

Neuzida’s Managing Consultant and Research Engineer carries a wealth of life and professional experience in various technical domains and platforms across multiple industries, including education, finance, entertainment, and tech. We partner in AI digital strategy, transformation, and training programs.

Nerissa K.A. thinks humanly with a Master’s in Training and Development and is skilled for a rapidly evolving landscape where machines become thinkers and interpreters of information to present to human audiences. As a certified Microsoft Azure AI Engineer, Data Scientist, and Blockchain Developer, she collaborates with security experts to tackle AI safety and security issues.
